29-03-2026 08:24 PM

Ammon News - Alaa Al-Aghawat, Director of Transport for Al-Balqa Governorate, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting investors in the transport sector following complaints submitted to his office by several investors regarding certain procedures they deemed obstructive to investment and affecting business continuity.

Al-Aghawat noted that the directorate’s doors are open to all investors to hear their feedback and address any obstacles within legal frameworks, emphasizing that he does not believe in centralization. Instead, he supports accelerating processes and simplifying transactions to serve investment interests and preserve job opportunities.

He explained that these directions align with the government’s aim to promote decentralization as a working methodology, empowering governorates, improving service quality, and engaging citizens in local decision-making. These directives focus on implementing an integrated working model aimed at local development, ensuring equitable distribution of development gains, and avoiding improvisation through well-studied methodologies that support the path of reform.

Al-Aghawat emphasized that supporting investment projects, particularly in the transport and services sector, directly contributes to creating new job opportunities and driving the local economy. He asserted that cooperation between official bodies and investors is the best path to overcoming challenges and enhancing the business environment.

For their part, several investors expressed their appreciation for the direct communication approach adopted by the Al-Balqa Transport Directorate, emphasizing the importance of continuing this approach to ensure sector development and enhance investment opportunities.
