Army: 22 missiles targeted Jordan in fourth week of war, 20 intercepted

Ammon News - The Jordanian armed Forces - The Arab Army announced that 22 missiles were launched from Iran towards the Kingdom's territory during the fourth week of the ongoing regional conflict.

In a joint statement with the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Saturday, the Military Media Directorate said that the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and destroyed the missiles with high efficiency, while two missiles, however, failed to intercept and landed in the eastern part of the country.

The statement indicated that the Kingdom's territory has been subjected to direct Iranian attacks since the start of the regional conflict, with a total of 262 missiles and drones targeting vital sites.

Since the beginning of the conflict, the Royal Jordanian Air Force has successfully intercepted and destroyed 242 missiles and drones, while defenses failed to intercept 20.

The Jordanian Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to fulfilling their duty with full force to preserve the security of the nation and the safety of its citizens from any aggression, and to protect the Kingdom's borders with all available resources to prevent any incursion or violation.
