Ammon News - Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani on Wednesday urged citizens to refrain from panic buying or stockpiling food, stressing there is no justification for such behavior amid stable supply conditions.
Momani said in press remarks that strategic reserves of foodstuffs, essential commodities, fuel, and medicines are secure and sufficient to meet the Kingdom’s needs under normal consumption patterns, with no anticipated disruptions.
He added that supply chains are operating efficiently and without interruption, noting that relevant authorities are closely monitoring markets to regulate prices and prevent unjustified practices, including withholding goods.
Momani also called on the public to rely on official sources for information and warned against spreading rumors. He underlined the importance of public awareness and the media’s role in delivering accurate information professionally and responsibly.
