Ammon News - Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi visited on Wednesday a non-commissioned officer from the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Public Security Directorate, who is recovering after being shot during a security raid targeting a high-risk drug suspect.

The operation resulted in the martyrdom of three Public Security personnel.

During the visit, Issawi checked on the officer’s condition, which was described as stable, and conveyed the King’s and the Crown Prince’s wishes for his speedy recovery and continued good health. He also relayed their pride in the efforts and sacrifices made by members of the security services in safeguarding the nation’s security and stability.

Issawi affirmed the nation’s pride in the sacrifices of the fallen personnel who gave their lives in defense of the homeland, praising the courage of the security forces in protecting the country and confronting the scourge of drugs.
