Ammon News - The South Amman Public Prosecutor, Dr. Ammar Hnaifat, on Tuesday ordered the detention of a man who appeared in a viral video throwing a young girl from a school bus belonging to Arda School. Authorities later confirmed that the child is his daughter.

The suspect was remanded in custody for seven days pending investigation.

The prosecutor charged him with the crime of assault under Article 334 of the Penal Code, in conjunction with Articles 2 and 3 of the Domestic Violence Protection Law, as well as Articles 5, 6, 8, 20, and 21 of the Child Rights Law.
