Iran launches 85 missiles and drones at Jordan, 79 intercepted

Ammon News - The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - Arab Army and the Public Security Directorate (PSD) issued a statement on Saturday regarding the latest development and figures related to the repercussions of the regional war on the Kingdom during its second week.

The Jordanian Armed Forces' Military Media Directorate stated that 85 missiles and drones were launched directly from Iran towards the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, targeting vital sites.

It explained that 79 missiles and drones were intercepted by the Royal Jordanian Air Force, while defenses failed to intercept five drones and one missile, resulting in their crash within Jordanian territory.

The Military Media Directorate affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are committed to their duty of defending the homeland and protecting it from all aggression, and are working to dedicate all their efforts and capabilities to preserving the Kingdom's security and the safety of its citizens.
