Ammon News - Under His Majesty King Abdullah II's directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon.
The convoy consists of 25 trucks loaded with relief supplies, food items, and medicines. The assistance was prepared as part of Jordan’s humanitarian response system aimed at delivering support to vulnerable groups and strengthening relief efforts in affected areas.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the JHCO said the convoy reflects the continuation of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role under the leadership of King Abdullah II, standing by sisterly nations during times of crisis and embodying the values of solidarity and compassion that characterize Jordan’s humanitarian work.
JHCO's Secretary General, Hussein Shibli, said the convoy underscores Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian approach in extending support to fellow nations, noting that the organization is coordinating with various national institutions to ensure aid reaches those in need efficiently and swiftly.
Shibli indicated that the convoy comes as part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s continued efforts to support Lebanon, stressing that Jordan is committed to mobilizing its logistical and humanitarian capabilities to deliver assistance amid the challenges facing the Lebanese people.
He also affirmed that the JHCO will continue its humanitarian mission in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, in coordination with official bodies and humanitarian partners, to ensure sustained relief support and its delivery to affected communities.
