Ammon News - Walid Al-Masri, the Minister of Local Administration, has requested the regularisation of 7,000 daily-wage workers in the municipal sector and other sectors, whose employment periods range between three and seven years.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, Al-Masri proposed that the workers be gradually regularised over four years, based on criteria that take into account work importance and actual field duties.
According to the letter, around 6,000 daily-wage workers are employed in the municipal sector, while about 1,000 work in other sectors.
