Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone foiled an attempt early Sunday to smuggle a quantity of narcotics using electronically guided balloons along its frontiers.
Border Guard units detected the balloons through surveillance operations and successfully intercepted them, bringing down their payload inside Jordanian territory in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.
The seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
