Ammon News - A man and his wife sustained injuries after a fire broke out at their home in the Wadi al-Hajar area of Zarqa Governorate on Tuesday, a security source said.

The source told "Ammon News" that the Zarqa Police Operations Room received a report earlier Tuesday morning about a residential fire in the area.

Emergency responders transported the injured couple to Zarqa Government Hospital for treatment. According to the source, the woman is in moderate condition, while her husband was reported to be in serious condition.

Authorities have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
