Ammon News - A "noticeable" drop in temperatures is forecast Saturday, with dust engulfing many areas, particularly in the Kingdom's southern and eastern regions.
The weather will be relatively cold and partly cloudy almost nationwide, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Showers are expected in the morning hours in the Kingdom's northern and central regions. Winds will be southwesterly to westerly, brisk with occasional strong gusts reaching speeds of 50-60 km/h.
In its report, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warns of the risk of low horizontal visibility during the day due to dust in many areas, and sometimes zero visibility on highways.
The JMD also warns of the danger of strong winds and accompanying gusts, advising citizens suffering from asthma and allergies to take precautions.
On Sunday, temperatures will rise "noticeably," as sunny and pleasant weather will prevail in most areas, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Saturday's maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 16-6 degrees Celsius, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 25C, dropping to 13C during night. Petra
