Ammon News - Independent Election Commission (IEC) Board of Commissioners Chairman, Musa Maaytah, announced on Wednesday the removal of MP Mohammad Jarrah's name from the Labor Party list and the consequent loss of his parliamentary seat.

In a remarks to Al-Mamlaka TV, Maaytah stated that the Independent Election Commission had received official notification from the High Administrative Court upholding the decision to expel MP Mohammad Jarrah from the party.

In addition, he clarified that the youth candidate following MP Mohammad Jarrah on the Labor Party's general list, Hamza Hani Khalil Tobasi, has become a member of Parliament. His name is registered with the political parties registry and has been forwarded to Parliament to finalize his membership procedures.

The party court issued a decision to expel Tobasi and about 50 other members, but his name is still in the party register because he appealed the decision, and he is still a member of the party until the final decision is issued, Maaytah pointed.
