Ammon News - The Independent Election Commission (IEC) stated that it has taken note of the court ruling against MP Mohammad Ahmad Ali Jarrah, which upheld the Labor Party's decision to expel him.
Mohammad Kheir Rawashdeh, the IEC spokesman, confirmed that upon being officially notified of a vacant parliamentary seat, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Election and Political Parties Laws, it will officially announce the name of the MP who will replace the expelled MP.
Based on the provisions of the Election and Political Parties Laws and the Election Commission Law, the vacant seat, being designated for youth, will be filled by the young candidate on the same party's list who ran against Jarrah.
