Ammon News - The aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln" arrived in the Middle East this evening (Sunday) and is near Iran.

The arrival of the significant naval force places the United States within striking distance of a decision, following the US military's promise to strengthen its defenses against Israel, according to the Hebrew channel 13.

As part of the efforts to strengthen defenses, a ship carrying specialized missile defense systems is approaching Israel.

In addition to the naval response, the US military is preparing to strengthen defenses on land as well, with the THAAD air defense battery expected to arrive in the coming days.
