Ammon News - The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply revealed on Monday the key outcomes of the Jordanian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee meetings, which were held in Amman on Saturday and Sunday.

The Ministry stated that the government secured a soft loan of $25 million from the Qatar Fund for Development for the National Water Carrier Project.

Agreement was also reached on establishing investment projects in sectors to be determined later, and on identifying products with The two sides also agreed to move forward with establishing joint investment projects in sectors to be specified later, and to determine products that could be promoted in each other’s markets.

In addition, the committee approved holding the Joint Economic Committee sessions next April, alongside a business forum to be organized on the margins of the meetings.
