Ammon News - Cold and unsettled weather continues to affect the Kingdom on Wednesday, with intermittent rain showers lingering over western regions before conditions gradually improve later in the day.

Skies range between partly cloudy and cloudy at times, while scattered showers fall intermittently across western parts of the country. Rain chances are expected to ease during the early nighttime hours as atmospheric conditions stabilize. Moderate northwesterly winds will prevail, becoming active at times.

The Jordan Meteorological Department warned of reduced visibility during the morning hours due to fog over mountainous areas, plains, and parts of the desert. It also cautioned against frost and freezing conditions late at night over high mountain elevations, particularly in southern regions, in addition to reduced visibility caused by dust in desert areas.

Temperatures are forecast to rise slightly on Thursday, with foggy conditions during the morning and cold weather persisting across most regions. Milder conditions will continue in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds and moderate northwesterly winds that may become active at times.

Desert areas will see temperatures between 14 and 6 degrees, plains between 10 and 5 degrees, and the northern Jordan Valley between 18 and 9 degrees.
