Ammon News - One person died and 18 others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving 11 vehicles in the Al-Omari area of Mafraq Governorate.

The Public Security Directorate’s media spokesperson said that specialized Civil Defense and police teams responded to the accident immediately upon notification.

Ambulance crews provided the injured with necessary first aid at the scene before transferring them to Zarqa Government Hospital for treatment.

Authorities have opened a traffic investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
