Ammon News - Minister of Finance Abdulhakim Shibli issued Financial Order No. 1 for the fiscal year 2026 to ministries, departments, and government units.

The Minister emphasized Article (4/A) of Law No. (16) of 2025, the General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2026, which stipulates that "expenditures from the allocations earmarked for government departments shall be made based on general and/or special financial orders and in accordance with monthly financial transfers certified by the Director General of the General Budget Department," according to the financial order.

Shibli also emphasized Article (15/A), which stipulates that "expenditures from the allocations earmarked for government units shall be made based on general and/or special financial orders."

The Royal Decree approving the General Budget Law for the 2026 fiscal year was published in the Official Gazette on December 21, 2025.
