Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone thwarted early Sunday morning four attempts to smuggle large quantities of narcotics using balloons guided by rudimentary devices.

The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that the balloons and their cargo were intercepted and shot down within Jordanian territory after being spotted at various locations by border guards in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized items were then transferred to the relevant authorities for further action.
