Ammon News - Balqa Governor Faisal Al-Masa'eed announced on Saturday the complete closure of Al Salt-Wadi Shu'aib-Central Jordan Valley road.

This measure comes as a result of landslides that occurred in the area adjacent to the road on Saturday morning.

Al-Masa'eed explained that the closure is necessary to address the aftermath of the landslides and carry out the necessary maintenance work to ensure the safety of road users.

He urged citizens to use alternative routes until the maintenance work is completed.

It is worth noting that the landslides in the area were a result of the recent weather conditions in the Kingdom, which included heavy rainfall.
