Ammon News - The American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan held its annual gala to review its achievements for 2025 at the St. Regis Amman Hotel, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, who was represented by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah.
The gala welcomed over 200 guests, including members of the Jordanian government, U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Jim Holtsnider, public sector officials, the Chamber’s strategic partners, and private sector companies and members.
In his remarks, Qudah emphasized the importance of strengthening economic cooperation between Jordan and the United States and the vital role of the private sector in driving sustainable growth and investment.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, Samer Sami Judeh, affirmed the Chamber's commitment to strengthening economic relations between the United States and Jordan, saying: "2025 represents an important milestone in strengthening the economic partnership between Jordan and the United States. Based on the vision and directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein to promote stability and economic growth, the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan has focused on enabling companies to expand and access new markets, and strengthening the ties that support our bilateral economic relationship."
For his part, U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Jim Holtznider emphasized the growing partnership between the U.S. Embassy and the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, noting its role in ensuring the deepening and expansion of trade relations between the United States and Jordan and strengthening their resilience.
"We are working to support American businesses in Jordan. Our two countries can, and will, trade together, grow together, and prosper together," Holtznider said.
Raghad Al Khojah, CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, reviewed the Chamber’s most important achievements during the past year, including new initiatives and programs designed to enhance trade and investment opportunities, bridge gaps in the business environment, support innovation, and establish effective communication channels that support tangible economic growth.
It is worth noting that the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan is a non-profit, membership-based organization with 250 members, including leading Jordanian and American companies.
