Ammon News - Preliminary data from the Central Bank of Jordan showed a 4.2% increase in total remittances by expatriate workers to the Kingdom during the first 10 months of 2025, reaching $3 billion and 725.5 million, while remittances from the Kingdom increased by 14.9% to reach $1 billion and 457.2 million.
Remittances from the United Arab Emirates came first, accounting for 24.1 percent, followed by the United States, 21.2 percent, Saudi Arabia, 20.9 percent, and Qatar, 10.7 percent, the data showed, while other countries constituted 23.3 percent of the total remittances received.
As for outward remittances, Egypt ranked first, at 40.1 percent, followed by Bangladesh, 10.8 percent, the UAE, 5.9 percent, and the Philippines, 5.4 percent, while other countries constituted 37.8 percent of the total outgoing remittances, according to the data.
