Ammon News - The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, with renewed airstrikes and artillery shelling reported in several areas.
Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting the city of Rafah and areas east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, amid ongoing artillery bombardment and heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
Israeli naval boats also opened fire in the waters off al-Qarara, northwest of Khan Younis, further escalating tensions along the coast.
Meanwhile, areas east of Gaza City have been subjected to continuous artillery shelling, causing fear among residents and adding to the ongoing instability despite the declared ceasefire.
Yesterday, health authorities in Gaza announced that the death toll has risen to 70,654, the majority of whom are children and women, since the Israeli aggression began in October 2023. The toll of injuries has reached 171,095, with some victims still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue teams.
Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2025, a total of 386 fatalities and 1,018 injuries have been recorded, with 628 bodies recovered. WAFA
