Ammon News - Two Israeli soldiers were wounded Tuesday morning in a stabbing attack in the settlement of Ateret, north of Ramallah.
According to the Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom," Israeli paramedics provided first aid to two men in their twenties at the scene.
The Israeli army spokesperson's office, as reported by Israel's Channel 7, stated that the suspect attacked soldiers with a knife near the Ateret settlement, wounding two.
One of the soldiers shot and killed the attacker.
Israel Hayom further reported that a settler became suspicious of the attacker, and soldiers identified and questioned him.
During questioning, the suspect pulled out a knife and began stabbing the soldiers, who then neutralized him immediately, the newspaper added.
Additional forces were deployed to the area, and the incident is under investigation.
