Ammon News - Chief Justice Sheikh Abdul Hafiz Nahar Al-Rabta on Sunday welcomed a high-level judicial delegation from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, marking a renewed step in strengthening long-standing ties and enhancing cooperation between the two countries’ Sharia judicial institutions.

The delegation is visiting Jordan as part of the 67th training course organized by the International Islamic University in Islamabad, designed to provide participants with firsthand insight into Jordan’s legal and judicial systems. Their program includes visits to ministries, official bodies, and prominent religious, historical, and tourism sites across the Kingdom.

During the meeting, Al-Rabta highlighted the importance of the visit in reinforcing the historic, religious, and cultural bonds that link Jordan and Pakistan.

Members of the Pakistani delegation expressed appreciation for the Chief Justice Department’s role in facilitating closer judicial cooperation. They commended Jordan’s Sharia judicial system for its role in advancing social protection and adopting alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides exchanged commemorative shields and affirmed the importance of continued communication and collaboration between judicial and Sharia institutions in the two brotherly nations.
