Ammon News - Wednesday, Local gold prices in the market increased by 40 piasters (Qirsh), according to the pricing issued by the General Syndicate for Owners of Jewelry and Gold Trading Shops. This increase reflects recent movements in the global market and local supply and demand dynamics, affecting standard bullion prices across the Kingdom.
According to the Syndicate's daily price list, the selling price for one gram of the highly popular 21-karat gold reached JD 80.70 at jewelry shops, while the buying price (from customers) was set at JD 77.40. Furthermore, the selling prices for one gram of gold of the other karats—24, 18, and 14—were recorded at JD 92.5, JD 71.5, and JD 54.30, respectively, indicating a proportional rise across all gold standards.
