Ammon News - Tuesday, Local gold prices experienced a decline, as the price of one gram of 21-karat gold dropped by 50 piasters. This information comes from the General Syndicate for Owners of Jewelry and Gold Trading Shops.

According to the daily pricing schedule released by the Syndicate, the selling price of one gram of 21-karat gold from jewelry shops reached JD 81.20 (Jordanian Dinars). Meanwhile, the purchasing price (the price at which jewelers buy gold from the public) was set at JD 77.80.

Furthermore, the selling prices per gram for other major gold karats from jewelry shops were also listed. The price for 24-karat gold stood at JD 93.00, the price for 18-karat gold was JD 71.90, and 14-karat gold reached JD 54.60.
