Ammon News - Thursday, Local gold prices experienced a decline of 80 piasters this morning, according to the official price list released by the General Syndicate for Jewelers and Jewelry Traders.
This decrease pushed the selling price for a gram of 21-karat gold, the most popular variety among consumers, to 80.70 Jordanian Dinars (JOD) at jewelry stores. Conversely, the purchasing price from citizens for 21-karat gold settled at 77.40 JOD per gram.
For other standards, the selling prices saw corresponding adjustments. A gram of 24-karat gold was priced at 92.50 JOD, while 18-karat gold was set at 71.50 JOD per gram. The rate for 14-karat gold was recorded at 54.30 JOD per gram, reflecting the overall downward trend in the local market.
