Ammon News - Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Tuesday discussed prospects for academic and research cooperation with a delegation from the Russian University of Friendship (RUDN University).

According to a JUST statement, the two sides explored opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and development of joint academic programs, particularly in medicine, engineering, agriculture, and basic sciences.

JUST Vice President Mona Abu Dalu called for engaging with leading international universities to enhance the university’s educational and research standards and strengthen its alumni "competitiveness" regionally and globally.

Head of the RUDN delegation Anatoly Kirichuk expressed appreciation for visiting JUST's heaquarters, praising its "advanced" academic level and modern infrastructure and reaffirming the Russian university’s interest in building "productive" cooperation to serve the two sides' students and researchers.

Concluding the visit, the delegation toured several research centers and specialized laboratories and were briefed on the university’s modern academic and research facilities.
