Ammon News - Tuesday, Local gold prices witnessed a new and notable decline, according to the second pricing bulletin issued this morning by the General Syndicate for Owners of Jewelry Shops and Precious Metals Trading. This drop reflects the continued downward trend in global gold markets.

The selling price for a single gram of 21-karat gold, which consistently represents the highest demand among local buyers, was set at JD 79.70 at local jewelry stores. Conversely, the official purchase price from consumers (by jewelers) was recorded at JD 76.30 per gram.

Furthermore, the syndicate's pricing established the selling prices for other common gold standards. A gram of 24-karat gold now sells for JD 91.30, while 18-karat gold is priced at JD 70.60. The price for the lighter 14-karat gold settled at JD 53.60 per gram.
