Ammon News - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, on Monday received US Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict Colby Jenkins and his delegation at the General Command.

The meeting focused on joint military cooperation between the two countries, regional and security developments, and efforts to enhance stability in the region.

Huneiti emphasized the strategic partnership between Jordan and the US, appreciating ongoing support across military and defense fields.

Jenkins praised Jordan’s role under King Abdullah II in promoting regional security and stability, highlighting the Jordanian Armed Forces’ contributions to humanitarian efforts and their high standards in training and professionalism.

The meeting was attended by the US Ambassador, the Defense Attaché in Amman, and senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
