Global Fuel Prices Drop in 3rd Week of October

Ammon News - Prices of petroleum derivatives in global markets declined during the third week of October compared with their levels in the second week of the month, according to the weekly oil price bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The bulletin showed that the price of 95-octane gasoline decreased from $677 to $667 per ton, a drop of 1.5 percent, while the price of 90-octane gasoline fell from $650 to $640 per ton, also by 1.5 percent.

The average price of diesel declined from $635 to $610 per ton, marking a 3.9 percent decrease, while kerosene prices dropped from $669 to $652 per ton, down by 2.5 percent.

Additionally, the average price of fuel oil decreased from $382 to $365 per ton, a decline of 4.5 percent.

The average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell from $498 per ton in September to $480 per ton in October, down by 3.6 percent, while Brent crude prices dropped from $66 to $62 per barrel, a decrease of 6.1 percent.
