21-10-2025 12:34 PM

Ammon News - Director-General of Jordan Customs, Brig. Gen. Ahmad Al-Akalik, reaffirmed the department’s commitment to Cabinet Resolution No. 4307, dated June 28, 2025, which mandates the suspension of customs clearance for vehicles that do not comply with specifications, effective November 1, 2025.

Al-Akalik urged citizens, traders, and investors to take advantage of the remaining period to complete customs clearance for vehicles covered by the government decision before the enforcement date, and to finalize their transactions accordingly.

Earlier, Director of the Zarqa Free Zone Customs Rakad Issa had announced extended working hours at the vehicle section of the center. Staff will remain on duty during the upcoming Fridays, October 24 and 31, to accommodate the growing volume of vehicle clearance transactions.

Daily working hours have also been extended through the end of the month to ensure the completion of all pending transactions each day.
