Ammon News - Wednesday, Gold prices in the local market witnessed an increase of 1.20 JOD (Jordanian Dinars) per gram, according to the daily price list issued by the General Syndicate for Jewelry and Gold Traders.
For retail sale purposes at jewelry stores, the selling price of a gram of 21-karat gold reached 85.7 JOD, compared to a purchasing price of 82.7 JOD per gram from consumers.
The daily bulletin also indicated a rise in the prices of other purities. The selling prices for one gram of 24-karat, 18-karat, and 14-karat gold were recorded at 98.1 JOD, 75.9 JOD, and 57.7 JOD, respectively, for sales from jewelry shops.
