Ammon News - Monday saw a significant new jump in local gold prices. The most popular variety, 21-carat gold, was recorded at a selling price of JD 83 per gram at jewelry shops, with the corresponding buying price set at JD 80.
According to the daily price bulletin released by the General Syndicate for Owners of Jewelry and Gold Trading Shops, this price surge extended to other purities. The retail selling prices for 24-carat, 18-carat, and 14-carat gold rose to JD 95, JD 73.6, and JD 55.9 per gram, respectively, as fixed by local jewelers.
