Ammon News - Several Palestinian civilians have been killed and others wounded since dawn on Tuesday by Israeli warplanes shelling different areas across the Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondents.

According to medical sources, four people were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building on Omar al-Mukhtar Street in the Old City of Gaza City.

In the meantime, five more Palestinians, including three children, were killed when Israeli armored vehicles struck the home of the al-Habil family in the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

One civilian was killed and five others, including two women, were wounded in an Israeli drone strike on the al-Bureij refugee camp. Additional injuries were reported from the Nuseirat camp and the Netzarim area.

Meanwhile, two fishermen were killed by Israeli naval fire off the coast of Khan Younis, while in Gaza City’s Al-Sabra neighborhood, Israeli forces detonated booby-trapped robots, causing further destruction.

Since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023, over 65,344 Palestinians, the majority of them children and women, have been killed, with more than 166,795 reported wounded.

Thousands of people are also feared missing under the rubble of targeted houses, buildings, or on the streets, as Israeli airstrikes and massive destruction continue to hinder the efforts of ambulance and rescue crews.
