Mild summer conditions to prevail across most regions Tuesday

Ammon News - Mild summer conditions are expected to prevail across most regions of the Kingdom through the end of the week, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

On Tuesday, moderate temperatures will dominate across much of the Kingdom, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hotter than other regions.

Some low-altitude clouds are expected to form in the northern parts of the country. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally picking up speed, particularly in desert areas.

This pattern of steady summer weather is expected to persist through Thursday, with no major changes in temperatures. By Friday, however, a slight warming trend will be noticeable, keeping conditions moderate in most areas but hot in the deserts, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by light to moderate westerly winds.

Temperature readings for Tuesday are forecast as follows: East Amman will see highs of 31 C and lows of 19 C, while West Amman will range between 29 C and 17 C.

The Northern Highlands will record 27 C / 16 C, and the Sharah Highlands will experience slightly cooler conditions of 28 C / 14 C. Desert regions will be warmer at 37 C / 18 C, and the plains will remain steady around 32 C / 19 C.

In the Northern Jordan Valley, highs are expected to reach 38 C with lows of 23 C, while the Southern Jordan Valley will hit 40 C / 25 C. The Dead Sea will record highs of 39 C and lows of 24 C, and Aqaba will experience similar conditions with highs of 39 C and lows of 25 C. Petra
