26-08-2025 02:27 PM

Ammon News - Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Jordan Talgat Shaldanbai said the upcoming visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Astana carries special importance, marking a new phase in strengthening the comprehensive partnership between the two countries and giving fresh momentum to political dialogue.

Shaldanbai noted that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Amman in February laid a solid foundation for this meeting, identifying key areas of cooperation.

He said several agreements are already being implemented in concrete projects in energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, digitalization, and transport logistics.

He added that humanitarian and educational initiatives including academic exchanges, cultural interaction, and tourism development are also receiving attention, reflecting the two countries’ shared interest in fostering understanding and trust.

The ambassador said a major business forum is expected to be held in Astana during the King’s visit, bringing together hundreds of entrepreneurs and investors from both sides. The forum, he added, will serve as a real platform to discuss promising projects and attract investments in strategic industries.

Shaldanbai expressed confidence that King Abdullah II’s meeting with President Tokayev will set a long-term cooperation agenda, affirm the high level of trust between the two nations, and open new horizons for advancing bilateral relations. Petra
