Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone at dawn on Tuesday thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs, loaded onto improvised guided balloons within its area of responsibility.
The attempt was intercepted and the drugs and their cargo were brought down inside Jordanian territory after being detected by border guard forces in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.
The seized items were transferred to the relevant authorities.
