Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held talks on Friday evening with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, focusing on efforts to address the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip resulting from the Israeli aggression and Israel's prevention of aid from entering the Strip.

The meeting comes within the framework of Jordan's ongoing efforts to coordinate with the United Nations and discuss the latest regional and international developments, most notably the developments in the Palestinian cause and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
