22-07-2025 02:13 PM

Ammon News - Executive Director of Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, Ayman Samawi, on Tuesday confirmed that the state organizes the festival, and it does not generate any financial profit or revenue for the state.

During the Government Communication Forum, Samawi said that Jerash is not a private event, and that first-class tickets do not sell for JD500 and second-class tickets for JD300.

2025 Jerash Festival will feature 150 Jordanian artists, 534 Jordanian musicians, 350 theater artists, 120 poets, 25-30 Jordanian thinkers and creators, and approximately 400 craftspeople and empowered women. It will also offer thousands of activities for children, Samawi added.

He explained that all of these activities are free of charge, and that these activities do have costs.

Jerash Festival 2025 will be held in eight governorates across the Kingdom, and will not be limited to Jerash alone, as the program of events will be announced in each governorate, he revealed.
