Ammon News - The Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza/7 began on Sunday receiving patients and visitors, providing medical and therapeutic services as part of ongoing Jordanian efforts to alleviate the suffering of our brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing war there.
"In fulfillment of Jordan's humanitarian and medical mission to the people of the Gaza Strip, medical teams have begun their work receiving patients and providing medical services, with tremendous medical efforts. We are proud of our presence in the Gaza Strip, working with distinction and efficiency to serve our Palestinian brothers," the hospital force commander said.
For his part, the hospital director explained that the medical and nursing staff have treated more than 1,000 patients in specialized clinics covering a wide range of medical fields, operating around the clock.
The hospital team includes specialists in general surgery, dermatology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, urology, plastic surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and maxillofacial surgery. Significantly, the facility also boasts a vital mobile unit dedicated to providing support and prosthetic limbs for amputees.
The hospital teams were accompanied by 11 trucks loaded with humanitarian and relief aid and medical supplies, to provide the hospital with the necessary equipment to perform its duties, as part of the ongoing efforts undertaken by the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army.
The people of the Gaza Strip expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, for its continued support and supportive stances toward the Palestinian people.
