Jordan, Brunei discuss military cooperation during diplomatic visit

Ammon News - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti met Sunday with Brunei Darussalam's Ambassador to Jordan, Noor Huda Ahmad, for discussions on advancing bilateral military cooperation.

The meeting, held at the General Command headquarters in Amman, was attended by senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army.

Talks focused on enhancing defense coordination between the two countries and exploring avenues for expanding joint efforts in areas of mutual interest.

The discussions come as part of Jordan’s broader efforts to strengthen international defense partnerships and deepen security collaboration with allied nations.

Ambassador Ahmad commended Jordan for its regional leadership under His Majesty King Abdullah II, particularly in advancing humanitarian and development efforts and promoting peace and stability at both the regional and global levels. Petra
