17-06-2025 10:38 AM

Ammon News - Prime Minister Jafar Hassan conducted a field tour on Tuesday in Naour District, inspecting key industrial, health, youth, and social service sites as part of government efforts to monitor and enhance public service delivery and economic development.

The tour began with a visit to Nutridar, a national enterprise established in 1994 with an investment of JD20 million. The facility specializes in the production of infant formula and food products and currently provides employment for approximately 120 Jordanian workers.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of supporting the company in expanding its export reach to new international markets and exploring measures to reduce energy and production costs. The company currently exports around JD6 million worth of products to 11 Arab countries.

Hassan then visited the Our Lady of Peace Center for Persons with Disabilities, commending its comprehensive rehabilitation and support services offered across all age groups. He directed that the center be supported to accommodate children on waiting lists, particularly in areas such as early intervention, speech and physical therapy, autism care, and other specialized services. The center operates branches in Amman, Zarqa, Ajloun, Aqaba, and Mafraq.

During his stop at the Umm al-Qutain Primary Health Center, the Prime Minister called for upgrading the facility’s infrastructure and addressing the shortage of full-time medical staff. He noted the center’s critical role in serving a population of approximately 27,000 people and emphasized the need to rehabilitate the facility, which currently operates out of a rented building.

At the Hasban Youth Sports Club, Hassan accompanied by the Minister of Youth directed the installation of solar-powered lighting for the club’s playing field to reduce operational costs. He also instructed the completion of construction works on the club’s indoor hall, which has remained unfinished since 2018, and called for the renovation of the club's main building.
