Ammon News - The Israeli occupation army has withdrawn some of its forces from the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing conflict with Iran, instead reinforcing its borders with Jordan and Egypt.
The Israeli army claims, according to The Times of Israel, that it has reinforced its forces on the Jordanian border by approximately three times its usual number.
The Israeli army deployed the newly formed "96th Gilead" Division to the northern part of the Jordanian border, while the "80th Edom" Division reinforced the southern part.
The Israeli army accelerated the establishment of the "96th Gilead" Division, responsible for the eastern border and preventing infiltrations from Jordan. Its initial operations were scheduled to begin on August 1, coinciding with the Iran-Israel war and out of fear that Iran would create a new battlefield.
According to the army, four divisions from the army are currently operating in Gaza, following the withdrawal of the 98th Division.
