Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone, within its area of ​​responsibility, thwarted at dawn on Thursday a drug smuggling attempt using two drones, in coordination with with security bodies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND), a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army announced.

The drones was detected and tracked and the rules of engagement were applied, and the drone was successfully intercepted and brought down inside Jordan.

The source confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces will continue to harness its various capabilities and potential to prevent these narcotic substances from reaching citizens and affecting national security.
