29-05-2025 08:14 AM

Ammon News - Jordan is experiencing cooler-than-usual weather for this time of year, with temperatures on Thursday forecast to dip 4 to 5 degrees below seasonal averages. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, most areas will enjoy mild and pleasant conditions, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain warmer.

Some low-altitude clouds may appear, and northwesterly winds are expected to be moderate but may occasionally pick up speed, stirring dust in parts of the desert.

Looking ahead to Friday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected. The weather will remain generally moderate across most regions, turning relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be westerly and moderate in strength.

By Saturday, the country will see a more noticeable increase in temperatures. Conditions will become warm in the highlands and plains, and hot across the desert areas, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will shift from southeast to southwest and may become active at times, particularly in desert regions, where dust is likely.

On Sunday, temperatures will ease slightly. The highlands and plains will enjoy moderate weather once again, while the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain relatively hot. Winds will be moderate and westerly, with occasional gusts.
