Ammon News - Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) Yousef Issawi met on Tuesday with Amal Al-Haddabi, Chairwoman of the Jordanian Emirati Business Women Council, along with members of the board, to discuss enhancing collaboration between businesswomen in both countries.

Issawi highlighted the enduring strength of Jordanian-Emirati relations, built on deep-rooted ties and mutual respect, fostered by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He praised the exceptional level of cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the economic and social spheres.

He expressed optimism that the council would serve as a dynamic platform to deepen economic partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, and empower women entrepreneurs in both countries. He also commended the increasingly prominent role played by Jordanian and Arab women in the business world.

Issawi underscored the significant strides Jordanian women have made across various sectors, attributing their progress to the comprehensive reform vision of His Majesty the King. He reaffirmed the Royal Court’s commitment to supporting purposeful initiatives and offering all necessary backing to ensure the council’s success.

Al-Haddabi, in turn, emphasized the council’s ambition to expand cooperation across vital sectors, particularly in innovation-driven fields like technology and artificial intelligence. She noted that the focus is shifting from empowering women to enabling them to become key drivers of economic impact.

She added that the council aims to support start-ups, strengthen women’s participation in the private sector, and cultivate a business environment that is inclusive, sustainable, and conducive to long-term success.

At the close of the meeting, Al-Haddabi and council members extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people on the occasion of Independence Day, wishing Jordan continued progress and prosperity. Petra
