Ammon News - The Eastern Military Zone, in coordination with other security agencies, thwarted within its area of ​​responsibility smuggling attempt using a drone, an official military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army said.

"Border Guard Forces in the Eastern Military Region detected a drone attempting to illegally cross the border. It was intercepted, jammed, and its load dropped. The items seized were referred to relevant authorities," the source added.

The source stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces stand ready to confront anyone who dares to undermine the nation's security and capabilities, and will act with all force and resolve to prevent all forms of infiltration or smuggling attempts.
