Mild weather on Tuesday with temperatures rise

Ammon News - Jordan will experience mild weather on Tuesday, with temperatures hovering around seasonal averages, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Conditions will be moderate in most areas, while the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to see relatively hot weather. Northwesterly winds will be moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active during the afternoon in desert regions.

A slight increase in temperatures is expected on Wednesday. Most areas will see warm conditions, while the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot. Winds will shift between northeasterly and northwesterly, remaining moderate.

On Thursday, a significant rise in temperatures is forecast, with highs climbing 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average. The highlands will experience relatively hot weather, while the rest of the country will face hot conditions. Winds will be moderate and southeasterly, becoming occasionally active and raising dust in desert regions before shifting to northwesterly in the afternoon.

By Friday, temperatures are expected to drop back to near their typical levels for this time of year. The weather will remain warm in most regions and hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will be moderate to occasionally active, with blowing dust possible in desert areas.

On Tuesday, temperatures across the Kingdom will vary by region, with highs and lows expected as follows: East Amman will record 29 C during the day and 15 C at night, while West Amman will see temperatures range between 27 C and 13 C.

In the northern highlands, temperatures will range from 23 C to 11 C, and in the Sharah highlands from 25 C to 12 C. The Badia regions are forecast to reach a high of 35 C and a low of 16 C, while the plains will see a similar range of 29 C to 15 C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will vary between 35 C and 17 C, and in the southern valley between 36 C and 23 C.

The Dead Sea is expected to record a high of 35 C and a low of 20 C, and the Gulf of Aqaba will see the highest temperatures of the day, ranging from 36 C to 22 C. Petra
